Section 9
Arrestable person related to offense

(1) If any person related to the crime is found or is in the act of committing the crime, the police or investigation officer can arrest him.
(2) If a person needs to be arrested immediately in accordance with this paragraph in connection with the investigation of a crime, an application must be made to the officer handling the case for permission to issue an arrest warrant along with the details of the identity of the person to be arrested as far as possible.
(3) If an application is received in accordance with sub-section (2) and if the reason for arrest is found to be reasonable, the officer hearing the case may grant permission to issue an arrest warrant on the same application.
(4) The format of the arrest warrant will be as mentioned in Schedule-8.
(5) The order under subsection (3) shall not be made public until the person to be arrested is arrested.
(6) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (2), if the person committing the offense is not arrested immediately, if such person escapes or destroys evidence, evidence or evidence, such person shall be arrested immediately by issuing an arrest warrant in accordance with schedule-9. For approval, the arrested person along with the case should be submitted to the officer.
(7) If a person has been arrested by issuing an arrest warrant as per sub-section (6), no other investigative action related to such offense shall be taken without obtaining approval from the investigating officer. (9) If a person is arrested in accordance with sub-section (1) or (6), before the arrest, the reason for the arrest must be disclosed and an order to surrender must be given.
